Research & Development Department Research and Development department of  Chemi Darou Co. holds the responsibility, to design and formulate new medicines as well as to modify and optimize the production methods and analysis of product, while observing the company's policy effectively in all stages of the process.   The research and development of projects related to this department are as follows:  • Continually research for finding international pharmaceutical resource in order to select novel and essential medicines for our country.  • Providing comprehensive information from effective materials and selected products in the medicine selection committee by employing the last international resources.  • We present up-to-date information in order to adding new products into Iranian Drugs list  • Research for pre-formulation  • Research for analysis of ingredient (raw materials)  • Analysis of finished products and stability test (in this step if required, we would provide Development Method as well as validation.)  • Preparing the comprehensive medical documents.  • Supervising the production line of three industrial batches due to completing documentation of batch records and submit a CTD Of the Product to obtain a drug production license. The primary purposes of R&D department are as below:  1. Formulating novel samples in order to improve the number of Chemi Darou's products.  2. Modification of the current production in order to enhancing the quality of products.  3. Formulating the medicines which the period patent of them are nearly expired.  4. Resolving the probable problems occurring during the production of current products  Following steps taken to reach above mentioned priorities:  1. Reinforcing the labor force by hiring the efficient staffs  2. Reconstructing and equipping infrastructures related to process (software and hardware) in the pharmaceutical research and development unit.  3. Creating a sub unit for scale-up due do produce novel products in the semi industrial scale (pilot) in the pharmaceutical research and development unit.  By trusting to experience of much more expert colleagues, utilize international scientific resources and availability of diverse equipment in the related units, made it possible for this department to produce various medicines in high volume annually. Finally, submit them to production unit.
